Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club

Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club is a private 18-hole course on the west side of Santa Rosa. Jack Fleming designed the present-site layout after the club relocated from its original east-side home. The club’s hole tour shows a tree-lined, bunker-guarded course with varied par 3s and several holes where water affects the line of play.

Course History

The operator’s golf history says local golfers founded the club in 1916 on Santa Rosa’s east side. It says the club relocated to the present site in 1956 and retained Jack Fleming to design the layout. Those dates describe founding and relocation; a separate, reliable opening date for today’s 18-hole course is not established here.

Design & Architecture

Fleming’s course tour describes a slight dogleg to open, a long uphill third, and a short sixth whose green is guarded by an oak and bunkers. The 15th is a long par 3 with a deep multi-tiered green; the 17th plays past a small lake to the left of the green. These are hole-tour descriptions, not claims about today’s turf or pin placement. Playing the Course

The operator lists Black, Blue, White, Green and Gold yardages hole by hole. Its Black numbers total 6,733 yards, but the tour is undated and has no tee-specific rating or slope. A reconciled, dated club or USGA card is needed before a full named-tee tuple appears in the fact band. The operator’s 18-hole pars total 72. Use the club hole tour to compare individual tee choices while that full rated tuple is held.

Know Before You Go

• The club describes itself as private. Full Golf membership includes course and practice access with 14-day advance tee times; Limited Golf has specified playing days and a 7-day window. Public tee-time booking is not offered. Confirm any guest arrangements with the club rather than assuming sponsorship or reciprocity.
