Robert Muir Graves designed its hillside course between Moraga and Orinda; the emphasis is on choosing and executing shots through changing terrain.
Course History
The club dates its establishment to 1973. The Town of Moraga describes the original residential and recreational development as dating to 1974. Those dates describe different milestones; neither establishes when the present 18-hole routing was completed.

Design & Architecture
The club describes an 18-hole, par-71 course with poa annua greens, routed through hills, canyons and creeks. Its published 6,150-yard overview is not identified with a named tee or rating, so use the club’s current card to choose tees rather than treating that rounded figure as a rated back-tee measurement.
Playing the Course
The club lists a grass range with a pitching area and practice bunker, an alternative artificial-turf teeing area, and three putting greens, including one with a chipping area. Range surfaces and availability vary with conditions.
