Indian Valley Golf Club

Indian Valley Golf Club is a public 18-hole course in the wooded, rolling hills west of Novato. The club course page credits Robert Nyberg with the design and says the course was built in 1958. Wetlands and woodland frame the routing; the operator offers public tee times and memberships.

Course and playing figures

The club still links a scorecard PDF with 18 holes and par 72. Its Blue row totals 6,374 yards and prints 69.0/123, but the PDF was produced in February 2019 and has no current effective date. Newer independent scorecards disagree on tee yardage and ratings. Until a current operator or NCGA/USGA edition identifies one named tee, rated gender and matching yardage/par/rating/slope, the fact band shows par 72 without a back-tee distance, rating or slope. The posted PDF is useful as a historical card, not proof of present tee measurements.

Layout and practice

The operator description places the course among Indian Valley’s hills, wetlands and woodlands. Its older scorecard map traces an 18-hole routing near Stafford Lake; individual hazard and green-condition claims need current confirmation. The practice-center page lists a driving range, chipping green, practice sand trap, putting green and private lessons.

Booking and arrival

The club rates page posts walking and riding prices for 18 holes, including separate weekday, Friday, weekend and time-of-day rows. These prices have no stated effective date; check the club booking link or call reservations at (415) 897-1118 before play. The contact page confirms 3035 Novato Boulevard, Novato, CA 94947.

An Indian Valley Golf Club commercial on the club’s own course page was published March 24, 2011. It is historical footage and does not establish current turf or hole conditions.
