The next date to put on the calendar for The City is not a tee time. It is October 1.
Registration for the 2027 San Francisco City Championship is scheduled to open October 1, 2026, and close February 16, 2027. The tournament’s official schedule lists March 5–21, 2027, at TPC Harding Park and Lincoln Park.
As of this article’s September 21 publication, the announced opening is still ahead. A registration button on the organizer’s website should not be read as confirmation that 2027 entries are already being accepted.
The dates to save
Registration opens: October 1, 2026.
Entry deadline: February 16, 2027.
Tournament dates: March 5–21, 2027.
Venues: TPC Harding Park and Lincoln Park, San Francisco.
How entry works
Entries and payment are handled through AmateurGolf.com. The organizer says a current AmateurGolf.com membership is required; non-members can join as part of registration.
There is also a cost distinction worth understanding before entering: the entry fee covers green fees for guaranteed rounds, not every possible round. Players who advance in match play pay for additional rounds as they go.
Start with the official entry instructions, then check your division’s eligibility, schedule and current charges in the registration system. This notice does not establish how many places will remain when you apply.
Two municipal venues
Harding Park and Lincoln Park are both on the announced schedule. Check the division-specific details rather than assuming that every entrant plays the same sequence of courses.
