Usually, a trip to Oracle Park puts the ball in someone else’s hands. This November, golfers will get a different assignment: aim for the outfield.
The Ballpark Back 9 presented by Zoox returns November 4–8, 2026, according to Giants Enterprises’ September 3 announcement.
Nine holes, a different view
The temporary layout sends pairs and foursomes between tee boxes on multiple levels of the ballpark, with target greens in the outfield and a putting challenge after the nine holes. Clubs and balls are included.
Think of it as a ballpark outing built around golf, rather than a substitute for a full round. The appeal is a different way to use a familiar place: somewhere you might normally watch a game becomes somewhere you can take a shot.
What is new this year
The organizer’s new addition for 2026 is a bar inside the Giants Clubhouse. Player admission also includes access to The Gotham Club.
That distinction matters when weighing the outing. The setting and access are part of the proposition, not just the golf. If your priority is practice or the most holes for your money, compare the checkout total with an ordinary round before deciding.
Tickets, tee times and arrival
The event runs November 4–8. The first advertised tee times are 9 a.m. Wednesday–Thursday, 8:30 a.m. Friday, and 7 a.m. Saturday–Sunday; these are schedule starts, not a statement about remaining availability.
Player tickets start at $99 plus fees; Tour Pro tickets start at $165 plus fees; a nonplaying Clubhouse Pass costs $25 plus fees. Player prices vary by date and tee time, so check the final total before paying.
Playing tickets are sold in pairs or foursomes. A twosome will be paired with another twosome; book all four places in a slot for a private group.
The Giants estimate 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes for play. Arrive at least 30 minutes early and check in at The Gotham Club entrance behind right field along the Portwalk.
Clubs and balls are provided. Tickets are mobile only through the MLB Ballpark app. Tee times cannot be changed after purchase, and all sales are final.
The Giants say the elevated tee boxes are not ADA accessible for gameplay; The Clubhouse and Clubhouse Pass amenities are accessible.
