Course guide
The maintained course record, presented separately from live booking and user reviews.
Jay Morrish designed the routing across the gated Tehama property.
The course and clubhouse look over Carmel Valley and Monterey Bay. Its clubhouse includes a golf shop and dining. Members enter through one of two gates, so visitors should follow their host’s arrival instructions rather than use the general clubhouse address alone.
The club’s turf guide identifies A-4 creeping bentgrass on greens seeded in 1997. It describes fairways as a mix of perennial ryegrass, colonial bentgrass and poa annua, with a different blend on the tees. The course sits in a cool coastal climate, and the club chose the fine-textured bentgrass for the putting surfaces.
These details come from the Tehama turf guide.
Members can warm up on a 14,000-square-foot, 15-stall driving range overlooking Monterey Bay. Three putting greens and two chipping areas serve short-game work; one chipping area includes bunkers and allows shots of up to 70 yards. The pro shop supplies equipment and lessons.
The golf amenities page describes the range, short-game areas and shop.
The club’s physical address is 25000 Via Malpaso, Carmel. Membership inquiries are by invitation through the Tehama contact page. The club golf page describes the course and access.
