Mike Strantz

Mike Strantz was an American golf course architect celebrated for his bold, artistic, and dramatic designs. Before founding his own firm, Maverick Golf Course Design, he apprenticed under Tom Fazio.
His acclaimed courses include Tobacco Road, Caledonia Golf & Fish Club, and Tot Hill Farm. He completed only a handful of original designs before his death, each earning a reputation for striking originality.
